This is how I did it

How did you switch from your regular ‘diet’ to Paleo? For me personally it changed slowly.

During my pregnancy I developed some complaints with my belly. I thought it was just because of the pregnancy and would go away once I gave birth. Unfortunately that didn’t happen. My doctor prescribed me some tablets I have been taking ever since.

However my complaints would still occur every now and then. I started noticing this especially when I ate bread, potatoes or pizza. So I stopped eating bread. And I felt better. So I started investigating and found Paleo.
Since then I’ve been slowly changing my eating habits more and more towards paleo. My husband and son sometimes eat a ‘paleo-dinner’ with me and sometimes I cook them something different for dinner.

Lately I’ve been trying new (sweet) recipes, and they both love it! Things like a chocolate mousse (with avocado) or home made granola (with almonds, walnuts and pumpkin seeds) are happily welcomed

Now I’ve come to a point where I wonder if I could stop my medication. I’m going to contact my doctor about this very soon.
